New Tech Mentorship Program for Black Canadian High School Students is now accepting applications The nine-month virtual program seeks to develop skills in the technology sector. Students will all have access to mentors and the ability to build their network Access to a $20,000 scholarship fund that can be applied towards a Canadian post-secondary institution Rising Star will mentor twenty-five students from across Canada in Grade 10-11 “We need to get more Black youth engaged and excited about Canada’s bustling technology sector” said Randy Osei, founder and CEO of Athlete Tech Group. Applications for Rising Star are open until July 5th. The program will begin July 14.
